Dangerous Ishhq Full Movie For Free DownloadThe new USA TODAY Network ABC affiliate WSVN in Miami-Dade County will launch a new morning newscast at 5:30 a.m. starting Jan. 2.
WSVN's first newscast at 5:30 a.m. will originate from a different location from its noon newscast. WTVJ, which has the franchise, now will be based in the Miami-Dade County Courthouse at 801 Biscayne Blvd.
WSVN will broadcast in addition to its morning newscast a live newscast at 7 a.m. WTVJ's newscast will originate from its main studios.
WSVN's current 7 a.m. newscast is produced from the Courthouse, where WTVJ produces its noon newscast.
A newscast will launch at 5:30 a.m. Wednesday and Thursday on WSVN. That newscast will be anchored by Daniel Riehl and Amy Fineout. WSVN has signed anchor and reporter Hola Benitez to anchor a newscast at 7 a.m. starting Thursday.
The newscasts will have the same graphics package as WTVJ, including the "Love It" "Like It" and "If you don't like it, you can take your nose out of the television and walk it across the studio" graphics and music.
WSVN will be a separate station from WPLG, the other ABC affiliate in Miami-Dade County. WSVN's programming will be separate from WPLG's morning newscast. WSVN has not broadcast an early morning newscast since July 2002. WPLG has the Miami-Dade market's only morning newscast at 5 a.m. and 6 a.m.
The decision to launch a new newscast at 5:30 a.m. was made "after talking to newsroom, field producers and on-air talent at the station," WSVN said in a statement. "We looked at all the options and felt that WSVN should be ahead of the competition. With today's technology and news-gathering options, we believe this is the right time and place for WSVN to begin delivering its news in the morning."
